Get iCloud media library on photos again?

I just deactivated the iCloud library on my iPhone 6s so that no more photos are uploaded there. Now I only have 47 (!) Pictures on my cell phone, before that it was ~ 900. When I log on to iCloud with my laptop, all the pictures are still there. How can I get it back on my cell phone and undo everything? (The last deleted folder is empty, by the way).
