Would like to buy a laptop but I'm not a computer genius. So my question to all the dear computer specialists / genies. What should you look for when buying a laptop except the price? What is most important for a normal use so no gamelaptop.
You buy a normal office laptop from Asus or HP around the 500 euro, so you do not wrong. He should have at least 8 GMB RAM (RAM), at least 1000 GB (1 TB) of hard disk space and if possible have "SSD" in his name. That means he's really fast. Windows 10 should be there.
You need not pay more attention if you have no special requirements.
Many Thanks.
Define normal use.
Important is the screen size (small, if you carry it around often, 13-15 inches, large for main PC replacement operation (17 inches)
the same applies to the battery power: if you have it mainly s.Cable hang, the battery consumption is not important
Then there are laptops with touchscreen, if you like that / needs.
From the CPU / GPU ago is "normal" use, say surfing, Office, etc. Not demanding.
Here you will find a large selection including advice
In addition to what hydraulic excavators already wrote:
Go to an electronics store and type on the keyboard and look at the display. Then you'll notice if you can handle the keyboard and the display.
Otherwise: an all-rounder for the usual activities away from gaming is mass-produced and the purely technical differences are not as serious as the handling. It should fit your fingers and your eyes.
Thank you very much.
Normal use… Browsing Office Netflix etc.
Is it bad if ds only 4Gb Ram has?
If you want to play games from time to time, it should already have 8 GB, otherwise 4 GB are okay, but then it should be a bit cheaper.
Thank you. No gaming I do on the PS. But thank you 👍
You can retrofit some laptops and increase the memory. I get along very well with my 4GB so far and do not need more.
If you want to play, you will anyway be limited by the graphics chip. Only games with low requirements will run. More RAM brings nothing here.
I only bought a PC with a 256GB SSD. Again, the hard disk space is enough for me. Although I use it already 2 years, half of the place is still free. By the way: pay attention to your data. For example, if your laptop is Be tidy, all your data is gone. So always make a backup. Also, do not store sensitive data unencrypted.
Thank you 👍👍 I will do
