Laptop doesn't start anymore?

My laptop ran fine until recently. Nothing happens out of nowhere when starting, except that the fan turns on and off again and a beep can be heard.

Do you know what could have happened?

Yes it was the same for me and it was because my operating system was too old.

I had win 7 with no updates at all.

But there's win10 on it

And how do i fix it?

It could be that the hard drive is defective or something in the BIOS has gotten mixed up.

Battery is charged or mains adapter connected?

The screen stays completely black?

Maybe take out the battery, press the start button, wait and put the battery back in and try again.

Then it would be worth a try to briefly disconnect the CMOS battery (reset) or remove the hard disk next. You may then at least come back into the BIOS.

What nonsense is that. But that has nothing to do with it. The operating system is too old

Your problem has nothing to do with the operating system but is hardware-related…

What is the signal tone like? Just beep once or a sequence of beeps?

If it is a sequence, please write down how often short / long and such
