I have a laptop and have to have a working webcam, sound and microphone for university. For some reason the integrated microphone is not working, so I ordered a cheap microphone. But this doesn't work now either. The sound from the laptop no longer comes from the speakers when I plug it in, and the laptop does not record anything when I make a voice recording. In the settings I set the headset settings to Apps On. Strangely, everything works fine when I use a correct headset.
The newly purchased microphone is also not shown to me on the PC, there I only see my integrated one, which however does not work.
