(No extension! I just want to use Word, not word 365) If you buy a new laptop, you get the first year for free. However, my subscription recently expired and nothing works anymore. Do I have to download something extra or how do I make it usable again?

Buy an Office 2019 license from rakuten, you get everything and only costs around 1-2 euro
You have to sign up for a new subscription or buy Word if you want to continue using it. Very easily.

So the last thing I can use is software for which I have to print regularly and possibly for updates that I don't need. I prefer to pay once for an Office 2019 and then never again. Office was already too extensive for me in 2001 and was completely enough for me.
