Has anyone gained experience in how much does it make a difference in terms of data volume when playing with Hotspot on mobile phone on laptop CS GO and in the settings clocked connection indicates? Are there differences in the received and sent packets and how is the ping (is there a difference)?
My main concern is the data consumption with the mobile phone because I want to save a little bit. An hour cs go gamble already costs about 100-200 mb that I think is quite a lot.
There's no difference in principle, depends only on your connection.
Therefore: try it out.
Actually, there should be no difference in CS: Go. Switching to a timed connection ensures that Windows updates are not downloaded (except important updates) or that some cloud services do not synchronize files. It should be noted, however, that most programs (as far as I know Steam) do not care what you have for a kind of connection. So you also pull updates if you only have a timed connection and behave otherwise as well as with a normal connection.
I have an absolutely playable connection with LTE. With my DSL 16000er a comparison would not be fair 😀
I'm more concerned with reducing data usage
Well, but you have already given the answer. 100-200MB / h and csgo will not realize that you are mobile online and at one time consume less. Or just more if you go via DSL / cable online
Will it possibly consume less when using a clocked connection:-)?
Nope
