Can't reinstall laptop despite Windows Creation Tool?

I still have the following problem. Put a new Windows 10 on a laptop. The installation from the USB stick suddenly stops. Then the message Windows 10 with a tool to restore appears. Windows should be recoverable with a self-created Windows Creation Tool on USB (USB 3.1.). But only the Windows symbol 4 tile window appears and nothing else. Not even after 2 hours.

Are there alternatives to recover damaged files?

Aw

Have you used 2 different USB sticks now?

The Creation Tool creates Start USB or hold WIN 10 DVD for reinstallation. It's best to format it again and then rewrite it. But what can also be that your system does not start USB first, but as normal the DVD drive, which is why a stick always sounds so simple, but it is not at all.

If both are called USB stick and .iso DVD then you have both variants or implement the start routine in the BIOS. (Black screen white text. Esc, F2; F8 or whatever is shown.)

Then you write restore data, but this is not the same as a new installation, then all data must be overwritten at least.

You start it via the settings, backup / restore. This accesses a restore point (date and time set by e.g. Update or during software installation) to which Win is then reset. Thereby without attacking the stored data.

This is also possible with the bios
