I have a laptop with an i5 (8th generation, 8gb) and a GTX 1050 (max q, 2gb) and am looking for a new monitor with 1440p. Now I'm not sure if my laptop can play games with this resolution smoothly (wanted value 60-75fps), because I've always used an FHD monitor.
What do you say about it and would you recommend me to stay with FHD in case my laptop doesn't get it anyway?
