Hi
For me, the graphics card on the laptop (600 euro) was blown.
Can this be repaired or if so does it make sense?
Probably not. If you have a guarantee, you can try whether it is worth it depending on which card is in it. At 600 euro there will only be an integrated graphics chip inside, do not know if they can be changed because they are actually installed. Would just buy a new one when there's no guarantee left.
I would be interested to know what you have in your laptop for a graphics card, in the price range of 600 euro there are in most cases no graphics cards in it, but the graphics chips of the CPU are used. In this case, the CPU would also be broken. Of course, I can't say that 100% with such a short description, you are always on the safe side to visit competent people personally, but in my eyes a repair would make little sense here. Of course, that also depends on the age of the device, but that's the disadvantage of notebooks, because you can't replace a component as easily as with a PC, but is always dependent on experts or in many cases also on the new purchase.

Hi
If you no longer have a guarantee, just shoot the gpu with a hot air dryer.
if you can fix it using the method, it will break sooner or later, but then you can at least "prepare financially for the death of your laptop"
Warranty expired half a year ago.
Hmm, so let me put it this way, he actually seems to have installed a separate graphics card, but the technology is very strong in the budget area or simply extremely slow (if that's enough for your use, of course, no problem). The thing is logically no longer worth the 600 euro of the purchase, but now rather 200 euro (estimate). A repair, which would have to be carried out by a specialist, would certainly go in the direction of over 100 euro, and then you simply have to ask yourself whether it is no longer worthwhile for you to buy a new laptop.
He is now 2 1/2 years old. I mostly only stream music, watch YouTube and do no more surfing. Think maybe it is enough for a 400 euro part.
