I'm really desperate here and I urgently need help. I have been connected to the internet since yesterday evening but can't open certain websites or apps. Everything works on the mobile phone, on the laptop only Whatsapp, Google, Youtube. Nothing else.
I spent the whole day googling how to fix this but to no avail, I've already done this:
- Router restarted / taken from power
- Adapter restarted / taken from power
- ipv6 / ipv4 deactivated
-firewall checked
- WLAN settings reset
- laptop reset
- Firewalls checked and deactivated, does not help
I use Telecom and only one PC in the household has the same problem.
There's probably a telecom malfunction. Have a look and then write an error message if necessary. The problem should be resolved in a couple of hours to a day at the latest
Did you try to open the pages with a different browser? Do you have an antivirus installed on your PC? If so, I would deactivate it as a test and see if that changes anything.
Yes, I'm with the malfunction reporter at Telekom the whole time, but no one describes the same problem there and other PCs work, except for another one
By resetting my laptop, all apps were deleted for the time being… Besides, it's not the browser that I've already tried.
Maybe switched on that certain content is blocked.
OK Good. Then try a different browser
Try to empty the complete history and the cache of your browser
Understand. Have you ever tried to use your mobile phone as a hotspot and use it to access the Internet on your PC?
We have no parental controls and the firewall was also deactivated, it came all of a sudden yesterday evening after the internet failed dozens of times (thanks Telekom)
How do I do that? The browser doesn't even load the start page: /
I once had that at Telecom. A call (chargeable) is routed through many locations. Explanations end with the counter-questions "hää".
They don't understand, but quickly collect 10 € for it
How can I enter this in the router?
Googling the IP address and then opening the link does not work well on the laptop either.
This works out?
With the appropriate cable, yes.
You go to the browser, then in the settings on history, and then there on empty everything. Most of the time it's a gear or three points
