I have a 1.8.9 Minecraft world on my laptop. (+ Use Labymod)
Can I also enter this 1.8.9 world when I'm in the new Minecraft version? So with the new Nether Update yes, the 1.15 or 1.16 kp 😂
Would something change in the world then? Would something be lost or something like that?
It can only happen that there are errors with the mod. Make a backup of the world and then try.
Actually it should work you can't play the map afterwards in 1.8.9
Would actually go (provided there's no mod on it that is not for 1.15). And in 1.15 the nether was not renewed yet, so only in 1.16 (20w…) and I would not start it there. And still make a backup copy of the world so that it is not lost.
There are all newly generated chunks 1.15 and the old ones look a bit different because of the new blocks that replace some old blocks.
The world would be as you know it. The chunks that you newly generated would only be as in the new versions. All other chunks remain largely unchanged.
