I'm currently playing Sims 2 on a laptop. But I have to buy a new one soon. Is it possible to transfer the same game to a laptop with different extensions?
As far as I'm informed, this is not possible.

Thanks, I know it works with the same extensions, my question was whether I can transfer the game to another laptop if I have other extensions. (For example, I have the base game with a few expansion packs and would like to have Ultimate Collection on the new PC. So my question was whether I might have to insert any game files into the new Sims folder, which is then called Ultimate Collection.)
