I bought an Auna mic 900, but found that I always have a noise with Audacity.
The microphone is connected directly to a USB port on my laptop with the USB cable. (The laptop is a bit older)
When I turn my microphone down, I'm far too quiet. And when I adjust it so that I can be heard well, it rustles.
Is that completely normal or how can I change it?
I thought that an audio interface might help because it might be due to my laptop.
Did you test the laptop on battery power? Sometimes it gets better.
An audio interface doesn't bring you any improvements with your USB microphone.
Do you mean to use the laptop when I'm not charging it?
I've already tried that. Unfortunately it didn't help either
Strictly speaking, I mean to use the laptop without a connection to the power supply and also to unplug any other connected devices that are not required.
