IPad as a home PC?

I'm going to switch to a bbs soon and the info sheet says that you need a home pc with keyboard or laptop.

There are these keyboards for iPads and would that be a home pc?

It depends on what you are going to do with it. If you are to use certain programs, a tablet is not always optimal, sometimes even unsuitable.

My friend uses only an iPad, a company device, in his training. They make the electronics technician for automation technology and also use tower PCs at school.

We actually only need office, so it would be optimal, right?

I think that is possible. If necessary, contact the school again. But if it's just Word / Excel / etc, it should actually work
