What does it mean if you connect the laptop with a black screen to another screen and also gets no picture?
Either the computer is broken (or off), or the external monitor output is not activated.
This is not that easy, as there are several possibilities:
Hardware has hung completely. Often there's a reset button. Removing the battery can help, if necessary, let the battery run flat.
Power supply (battery, power supply) defective, so that the notebook does not start - are there any LEDs, etc. Which indicate the operation?
Display is faulty and the notebook is configured so that it does not immediately control external screens (with FN and function key switch through the monitor modes, then this would have to change).
Display of laptop defective and other monitor defective.
Motherboard or graphics chip defective - motherboard must be replaced in both cases, since the graphics chip is integrated or soldered on.
A combination of errors - cable from motherboard to internal display AND external monitor connection broken / resolved - very rare.
This means that the graphics card on the laptop is broken. That's why I do not buy a gaming laptop because often the graphics card breaks faster.
And what about reflowing?
Schw. Screen, F11 button does not light up as usual orange as the Wlan button F12 it now still does when off, Caps Lock flashes once each time continuously in 4 seconds Abstand.Habe already tried much.It is to scream.
Why should you do that? The risk of destroying the GPU with it is high.
If you have excluded other causes of error, you can't break much with Reflowen. Otherwise you would have to replace the motherboard anyway. Since the reflow is done in the removed state, the rest is not shredded.
I would give it my extremely patient screwdriver of confidence, who is constantly soldering SMD and also has a laser thermometer for monitoring. It would be too much for me, I would rather buy new.
