The following problem has just arisen: a friend called me crying because her SD card could not be properly ejected from her dog-like laptop. The result of the whole thing was that the SD is no longer recognized by any device. However, there are memories of the past 6 years on this thing. Is there a way to get the pictures or to partially restore them?
Something on it seems to have been damaged. A file or something. Perhaps the card was removed during an operation and then that happened.
The only way to get the data, I think, is to find someone who can save the data. In any case, I have no other solution at the moment.
Okay, then I'll throw in this suggestion, thank you very much.
You are welcome
Try to reformat it, first make a new partition (e.g. With gparted) Then data recovery with photorec that belongs to the testdisk package. Repairing is also possible with testdisk, but you need deeper knowledge.

Note… I've only tested this on Linux so far. But extra SD cards damaged to test it.
Why should you format and create partitions first? You can start a test disc right away. Format etc. Writes data to the data carrier unnecessarily.
Because otherwise more in-depth knowledge is required, which a layperson usually does not have and the other is also possible.
