I have not had an internet connection on my laptop for about 1 hour. I put my laptop on energy saving 2 hours ago and when I came back 1 hour later I did not have internet anymore. Of course it wanted to reconnect immediately, but it does not indicate my Wi-Fi. On my phone, for example (with which I also write here) everything works fine without problems, but on the laptop as I said, it does not even show the Wi-Fi. I have not had that yet. I looked at the settings and troubleshooting, but unfortunately there was no solution. My laptop as well as the Wi-Fi I have restarted but unfortunately this has brought nothing. What could it be? What can I do?
Sounds like the Wi-Fi module is disabled.
For laptops, you can usually turn this back on with a keyboard shortcut.
You will need the function keys (Fn).
Hold down the F-keys for a Wlan icon (do not confuse it with volume) and then press this key together with the Fn key (next to the left Alt key).
Look, maybe your network adapter is disabled.
To do this, enter "Control Panel" in the Windows Start menu and open it. Then first the top right view on "small icons" and then "Network and Sharing Center" and left there on the page on "change adapter settings".
Here you can see one or more entries. One of them should be something like "WLAN" hot (if necessary. Also different, you can't say exactly).
If this icon has gray screens instead of blue, then right-click on it and click "enable"
Hi, thank you for the answer, but unfortunately I have no Wlansymbol in the upper F-keys. The Fn button I have, but the wlansymbol weirdly not. Have looked everywhere several times if I might have overlooked it.
But I disabled them and turned them back on and now it works.
