Why did my parents always forbid me to do everything that others my age were allowed to do?

My mother even wanted to forbid me to shave when I was 13, I mean if there's hair what should I do.

My father was always like that every day I should only go to school even though my grades weren't even important.

I wanted to make so much of my life but I was always not allowed to.

So no hobbies today

Today I ask myself why do they have children?

In the past, everyone else was allowed to post themselves on Instagram, except me.

Everyone could wear pink lipstick, except me.

Everyone was able to get out at 7 p.m. Except me.

My brother got the toy he wanted and the gaming laptop but I don't even get a laptop where I can download a game.

My father even got upset about it once when I was reading a book because I should learn again 🤡

In the meantime, however, my brother has become his victim while studying.

And when I confront them with one of their many meshes, they always twist everything. And I'm always losing the discussion, that's how it was.

Only your parents can explain the why to you. But what's the point of thinking about it? Tick off and live your own life or work on becoming self-employed quickly.

Glad to hear that there are still parents who take care of their kids… For whom school education, appearance and dealing with the media are important.

You already know that such parents treat their children really badly. Maybe even hit.

So are you getting hit? Then go quickly to the youth welfare office.

And no, good upbringing does not automatically mean being beaten! ^^

Is called education. Your grades are important from the start. If you are bad at school, it is important to study. If you want a laptop, go to work and earn the money.

Sweetheart i got 3 and they will confirm to you that they had everything a child needs - a warm home, love and boundaries. School always had priority - they saw that as their job and then everything else came. Computers for the kids? Who should pay for that? I'm a single parent and have not received any maintenance. Consoles? Video games? Uninteresting, they were brought up to read, go out and be in nature a lot. Sorry but you seem to have a general problem with yourself - your psychiatrist will explain how to start blaming yourself

They each had a hobby and there were actually a lot of things that I couldn't or didn't want to make possible.
