I updated my laptop to Windows 10. I also ordered a new keyboard and installed it.
All drivers are updated, which I saw.
However, individual keys (a, k, l, …) do not work. Is the new keyboard broken? Should i send them back?
What's the problem?
Try a different keyboard on the computer or hang the keyboard on another computer and test it there.
We can't judge from a distance whether something is broken or not.
Press the FN key + the keys maybe there are any double assignments on it or foam times on numlock are you sure that the ribbon cable is correctly inserted? How did the old keyboard break?
No it is not a double assignment, numlock is not activated either and I damaged the old keyboard a bit, which is why I had to press the windows key with an external keyboard all the time because the double assignment was always on. So I bought a new one.
An external keyboard works fine. But not quite the built-in laptop.
Then check if the ribbon cable is properly seated blow the connector out of maybe dust between and a row in the matrix is no longer possible!
