Play switch on the laptop screen?

I want to play my switch on a bigger screen. Unfortunately, I have no TV / PC but only a laptop. How can I display the switch on this screen?

I tried a hdmi-hdmi cable and a hdmi-usb cable. Do I have to install anything in addition?
