When I use network connections on my notebook, Wi-Fi is inactive. I can't activate it either, there's no wlan button nothing. I tried to switch it on with flight mode off, but it doesn't work either.
Show in hardware, is not connected with wlan.
It still worked yesterday. But I had the notebook on the mouse pad and it probably stopped the fan and damaged the wireless adapter?
Or what else can that be?
So with mine, the Wi-Fi only works when I connect it to the power supply, so maybe it helps even though it is fully charged
Times the drivers updated?
I dare to doubt that the Wi-Fi was blocked by fans or the hardware was defective, unless it was really very hot and you switched it off immediately afterwards. Then possibly.
times connect your computer to the router via LAN cable and see if there are any updates that are still pending. You should also check the "Device Manager" to see if everything is normal there or if something is noticeable.
Otherwise - how old is the device?
Please go to Show network problem in the system tray and it says Show network cards. There you can see all the networks that are in your environment. Please choose your network and try to connect it. Then the question about the WLAN key should come up. You enter this and then it should work
It is a touchscreen notebook. So the fans were still turning and then I simply folded up the notebook, which immediately went into energy-saving mode. After that I opened it again and see Wi-Fi no longer exists.
Yes i have a notebook from turkey, and i can't get any further with turkish windows language and german instructions… I find it difficult to translate all that.
I just checked, the driver is the latest.
Only exclude hardware last - updates and drivers or incorrectly set software must be viewed first.
It says: vpn - vpn client; ethernet 2; ethernet 4; local network; all network adapters, but no wlan adapter
Otherwise i have installed avira with phantom vpn, maybe that is the cause?
What kind of speed haven do you have?
So the wlan adapter is usually: Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168, but it doesn't exist in geraetemanager?
Otherwise, when I want to install drivers, it says the newer version is already installed
So the wlan adapter is Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168, otherwise I don't know what is meant by speed port? Wi-Fi modem?
If the "Wireless AC 3168" is not displayed in the device manager, the WLAN hardware on the laptop is switched off (or broken):
Restart the laptop! (not sleep mode, but restart properly)!
OR
Search for the WLAN button and switch it on (there's actually a button on every laptop):

PS:
Otherwise, take the battery out of the laptop (if that works) and switch the laptop on briefly without power or battery (then the residual current is consumed). Now put the battery back in and switch on the laptop… Maybe it will help.
If the WLAN adapter breaks, you have to use a WLAN USB stick. If the Wi-Fi reception is good, a Wi-Fi Nano USB stick is sufficient; if the Wi-Fi coverage is poor, a stick with a Wi-Fi antenna is better.
Make and model of the laptop? Then you can be better helped.
I can't take out the battery, it's in the housing. Is there any other way to do that? Let the battery run empty?
Strange but now it just works like that? Maybe it really has something to do with the avira virus program?
Now it kind of just works that way?
I only forced it to switch off briefly, holding down the power button, because the screen suddenly stayed black, although the fan turned and then switched on again, now it works all at once?
Congratulations, so a forced restart solved the problem.
This is often the case, a restart often works wonders, with Windows PCs, laptops, tablets, WLAN routers, smartphones, SmartTV… A restart is a good first aid for strange problems everywhere.
