Laptop display on 50hz are dangerous?

Since I can only achieve 50 FPS in some games, but these jump to 60 more often and this causes a lag, I would like to limit my monitor to 50hz.

This is possible in the Intel HD settings by simply creating a custom resolution and specifying a hz number, but is this safe?

If your laptop is cooled enough, I would say it isn't dangerous
