I installed Word on my laptop as a student. Now I also have a tablet, here I also logged into Word with the same email (same email as with the laptop). Now, however, the message "This account does not allow editing on your device. If you are interested in an account with full access, please contact your organization about your subscription plan".
How can I fix the problem? Actually, I can install Office on 5 devices.
In principle, Word only works for (non-Windows) tablets with an Office 365 subscription. I can see from the error message that you get Office from school or a company. I would therefore most likely ask the school or company (in the IT department or similar) which subscription you are currently receiving and, if necessary, ask for an upgrade.
The whole thing is managed via the Office Admin Center. There your administrator can change permissions and manage subscriptions.
