I have not been able to use my laptop for a while because the internet is not working. It just shows a red cross (see picture) on the connection icon. I have already tested a new cable. What could be the problem? Is my laptop broken?
The sign comes almost exclusively when no cable is plugged in. If cable was in it, the cable was also plugged in rout? Did the router recognize this too? If not, then the RJ45 jack on the laptop or router will be broken.
Whether the router has recognized the cable, you can see that the socket flashes.
Maybe there are only some fluff in it, please check the contacts.
