Play Sims 4?

I have a Mac Book on which I unfortunately can't play Sims 4 because it simply takes up too much space. However, I would like to play Sims and have considered using a computer or laptop for this. But since it's really a luxury problem, I don't want to spend too much money on the ball. Does anyone know of any cheap ways to play The Sims 4?

Please no comments about being stupid or rich or any other nonsense. When I asked in various stores, such statements were made to me. I don't throw money out the window and want to invest it "sensibly", but still allow myself this hobby.

Delete something or buy an external hard drive is the cheapest

Di

If it is a storage problem, just buy an external hard drive that you connect via USB and select the location for Sims 4 on this hard drive.

I can't save Sims on the external hard drive and at the same time access the storage status. I have already tried it… Deletion is not possible. The game draws too much for that and I need the MacBook for studying.

I don't know if it's compatible for a Mac Book, but an external storage drive might work. Otherwise, as far as I know, there's no way if you don't want to buy a PC or laptop. The game is not available in a compressed version or the like.

I also meant the files from you to the external hard drive until you have enough space. But actually you should have an external trz. Can access it

Ic

As far as I know it is not possible. I've already tried it. But I'm also not a technology genius

Di

It is possible,. Why shouldn't it?

Ic

I've already tried but Sims uses too much storage space with all extensions

Ic

I don't think the location on an external hard drive is recognized

Di

But he will.

I would buy one, but it shouldn't be too expensive and I think that's difficult

I would guess for the Sims 4, every 0815 "Multimedia" PC should be enough for 100-200 euro on the Internet, but you still need a mouse + keyboard + screen and, best of all, boxes \ speakers.

Get a cheap B-stock Aldi / medion PC, they should actually be enough.

Best on Ebay.

Play Sims 4

It seems to have everything you need and is definitely cheap.

Ba

How much would you be willing to spend?

Di

And as soon as you have a new PC / laptop you can simply connect the hard drive and you do not need to download it again

ne

If you already have a laptop or Macbook I would buy a PC in your place, https://hardwarerat.de/...a-ssd?c=78, but it is probably a bit too expensive

Ic

Sims is more demanding than you think. That needs a good graphics card and a lot of memory

br

One PC is enough for a small Ryzen / Athlon.

Ready PC… That is enough 250 euro.

Self-built about 200 euro.

Notebook…

330 euro… More than enough.

Thank you

I made myself smart on the Internet and also tried to drag Sims to the external hard drive. It is not possible.

Ic

Reluctant to over 350-400 euro

No. "Storage space and hard disk: The free storage space should be at least 2 GB of RAM, whereas 4 GB of RAM would be even better. You also need at least 9 GB of hard disk space, which also provides 1 GB for saving the game and other content.
Graphics card: You need at least 128 MB graphics RAM for the Sims 4 and support for the Pixel Shader 3.0. The NVIDIA GTX 650 and newer models are recommended here.

"

2GB ram, better 4GB. And… Recommended 128MB ram? Not a joke.
"Processor: You need at least an Intel Core 2 Duo with 1.8 GHz"
My cell phone has a quad core processor (= 4 cores) with I think 2 GHz, so more power than you need for the Sims 4.

Sorry but The Sims 4 is really not demanding.
