Are there USB-Bluetooth adapters?

There are still many devices that do not support Bluetooth, for example my laptop. Is there a way e.g. To connect wireless Bluetooth headphones with it, so with a kind of adapter? So basically a device that you plug into the headphone output of the laptop, into the USB socket or into the HDMI socket, and which then converts the audio into Bluetooth. Is there such a thing?

So for the PC there are USB Bluetooth dongles. They then send and receive via the Bluetooth driver on the PC. Looks a bit like a USB stick.
