Following my tablet laptop broke, unfortunately there were a lot of pictures and important documents on this device, which I would now like to transfer to my new PC. Maybe someone knows about it and how I can best manage it? The laptop broke apart in the middle.
Remove the hard drive and connect it to another PC / laptop using an appropriate adapter cable…
If it was a tablet, your pictures were saved on an internal flash so you can't get anything down.
Was it a laptop then there's a normal SSD / HDD inside that you can e.g. Can be built into an external hard drive housing and then used normally
If the thing had a hard drive, you could remove it and then try to save the files with another PC.
Be that as it may, you are now learning the hard way why experts have been advising you to make backups for well over two decades.
