My microphone on the laptop no longer works. I've tried different programs, but it didn't work anywhere. I also tried a headset, which also didn't work. The microphone is on and I haven't changed anything on the laptop. Suddenly it just stopped responding.

Look in the Sounds Settings if "your microphone can be seen with a tick like this, ✅" for recording
