I've had a (very slow) laptop for a while. This is very likely due to the cpu. I have installed an Intel core i7 4600u, 2.10 GHz. Now I wanted to ask whether I might be able to install the cpu from another pc (which I no longer use, but the cpu is better) in my laptop. Both Intel processors with integrated graphics unit.
No, you can't. You can't install CPUs from PCs in laptops
Changing the CPU is usually not possible on a laptop because the CPU is soldered there. Especially since a desktop CPU can't simply be inserted into a laptop (wrong socket).
Forget that very quickly. The components must fit together, especially the mainboard and CPU. In addition, you can often not simply replace the CPU with laptops because it is permanently installed.
The CPUs for the socket FCBGA1168, like your CPU, are soldered on the board. In theory, you can swap it, but in practice it is not that easy and also makes little sense in your case, as there are no significantly better alternatives. Unfortunately, you can't install a CPU for a different socket because it is not compatible.
Ok thanks, the laptop is extremely läggen. No matter what I do. Even when I simply surf in the browser, the cpu is busy and the cpu cooler literally takes off. Could it be that the cpu fan is somehow dusty or something? I mean just because it gets extremely loud all the time

However, this is not only due to the CPU but also to old hardware. Replacing a component does not help and laptops are simply not usually suitable for upgrade campaigns.
If you want to tinker with the hardware, buy a PC.
In fact, this is very likely if you have never cleaned it. After all, we're writing about a 6 year old device. It is also possible that the thermal paste between the cooler and CPU is hard and brittle, so that the heat can no longer be dissipated sufficiently. Therefore, cleaning the inside and applying new thermal paste is certainly not the stupidest idea.
And if the CPU already has a high load in idle, clean up in the autostart.
I mean, I've already built my own pc (rtx 3060 ti, r5 5600x, 32 gb ram, etc.), but I just wanted to ask because I've been working with this thing quite often.
Then it's time you got a new one. Laptops are not suitable for tinkering around.
Sounds a bit stupid now, but how does it work?
Which part?
"clean up in the car start", I meant that part
Easiest way Task manager → Autostart and sort there by status. And you deactivate everything that is active and not required. This frees up both memory and capacity in the CPU.
What are you writing? The laptop is still absolutely powerful enough for surfing, office and co.
Obviously it is no longer enough for the FS. This is what this is about and not what you think is good.
Have now disabled a few. What is the CDAserver, restoro app or "Pogramm" for. I've now deactivated it
You don't even know that. A 6-year-old device with a full window and a clogged cooler would also explain the symptoms.
I can't write that to you, you installed it. Perhaps the day has come when you should restart Windows or at least uninstall unnecessary software.
The FS wrote that it wants to change its CPU. The CPU itself is very slow. The other hardware is correspondingly old. You can't expect miracles nowadays, even without a trashed system.
So that you don't think that I'm completely stupid with hardware: I built my own PC (rtx 3060 ti, r5 5600x, 32 GB ram, etc.). Use the laptop quite often. So there's nothing more you can do about it? (With regard to the laptop)
Doesn't matter peep. Maybe you speak 5 languages or you have a PhD in philosophy, these are all things I can't or don't have and there are dozens more.
Why suddenly so energetically? It was just a question…
Energetic? I don't think you understood what the statement of what I wrote is. Nobody can do everything, knows everything or otherwise. Why should I think you're an idiot?
Oh, I'm sorry then. I got the statement totally wrong.
I have a question on another topic. I'm not sure if you can answer it now:
Whenever I want to download a program (bluestacks), I keep getting a blue screen shortly before the download is complete. And that, ALWAYS. Can I somehow bypass this annoying bluescreen?
I've downloaded Bluestacks at some point and then deleted it again (if it should be important in any way)
By blue screen you mean a Windows blue screen?
Yes, exactly, shortly afterwards the PC restarts.
There's also a QR code that can be scanned
What does the blue screen say, what should the problem be?
Sounds very stupid now, I know, but I don't know for sure. I only remember that I googled afterwards and it said that the error was due to a file that was reinstalled. But I'll try again tomorrow and let you know what kind of error message comes up
