Microsoft Surface Go Good for Students?

Hi. I'm interested in the above laptop / tablet and would need a few user experiences, since it is not cheap. I travel a lot and need to write texts on Word and make presentations. Working normal research & watching movies should also be possible. It is important to me that the device runs smoothly and can be used well in everyday life. What are your experiences with the product and can you recommend it to me?

Find the surface devices too expensive for the hardware.

There are many cheaper devices than the Surface. For what is installed in the device I find it extremely overpriced. Unfortunately, I do not have experience with the device itself.
