Hi, my graphics card is probably broken. Wanted to know if the data in Chrome or bookmarks can be installed who the hard drive expands or are the bookmarks almost dependent on Windows? TNX & LG
Chrome stores the bookmarks in your Google account. Assuming that you're usually signed in to Google, you'll have it back as soon as you install Chrome on a new computer.
About Chrome, I can't say anything, but with Firefox bookmarks, I had never had problems on another computer to import back into the browser.
I secure my bookmarks regularly on a USB stick. For this I use the native function of Firefox. Has always worked great, both export and import.
FF:
C: \ Users \ $ username \ AppData \ local \ Mozilla
C: \ Users \ $ username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Mozilla
Chrome
C: \ Users \ $ username \ AppData \ local \ Google
C: \ Users \ $ username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Google
Copy to the new computer.
$ Username, stands as a wildcard for your username. If you do not find "AppData", just type in at the top of the bar.
My pleasure:-)
Chrome and also the Firefox one can use on-line Online registration. Basically, everything is stored locally. My answer
Just log in again with Sync Firefox and (Google). Then they are recorded again.
If he knows how he gets there, z.b. Of course, with a USB hard disk adapter, it's no problem.
I think I have correctly answered the question correctly and apart from that, he just has to install a new graphics card and it has not been lost…
The answer has been done.
HI, Thank you for the answer, so I can also install a graphics card on the notebook?
That's probably the best answer, because everything is visible again. 😊 a laptop is a pity.
Oh you are able to either try with a monitor or you have to remove the hard drive. If so, that's not a problem.
My question was whether the bookmarks that were not yet downloaded from Chrome / Firefox so from the hard drive quasi Chrome from the respective hard drive to start and then in the old Chrome / Firefox of the previous device can load so. No there was no pocket via firefox and chrome was not logged in.
I'm not registered.
