My Iphone 6S just turned off today and can't be turned on since then. When I connect it to my laptop, Itunes recognizes my phone, but it just tells me it's in maintenance mode.
If I press Home and Lockbutton nothing happens, the screen stays black and my phone does not start up New. Although iTunes reacts to the pressing of the two buttons but just shows me again the message that it is in maintenance mode.
And now to the classic problem: I urgently need my photos are on my Iphone. My updates are but I think of 1998 felt (yes I know I'm guilty myself).
Is there a way to recover my data WITHOUT spending a fortune on any software? And without previous updates?
Is there a reason why Itunes recognizes that I press the keys but my phone still shows no reaction? (I hold on to every spark of hope)

If "Photo Stream" or "Photos in the Cloud" were enabled, the photos are in the iCloud. Otherwise… No backup no pity ;-)
