The USB port on my laptop is broken, when I connect a mouse or a USB stick it connects, then after about 10s it does not connect and then again and that for a long time until the accessories are completely no longer connected or only reconnects every 10 minutes.
It can't be the device (I connected it to other laptops, and all USB devices show this behavior on my laptop).
I've cleaned the USB port several times and reinstalled the USB controller in the device manager.
I would be very grateful if someone had a solution. Every idea is welcome.
Hi, shine in the connector and see if all pins are still intact. If nothing is broken, the USB controller may need a driver update. Often not done automatically in Windows!
