I want to buy Minecraft and my laptop meets all the requirements except for the CPU. I have one on 2.4GHz and the Minecraft websites say you need at least 3.2GHz. Now I wanted to know if I can still play it or do something about it?

The problem is that I don't really want to buy another laptop at the moment and if I have already bought Minecraft and nothing works, it was in vain.
The clock speed of your CPU is not directly indicative of how good it is. You can also have a CPU with a high clock speed but poor efficiency.
Which CPU did you use? You can see this in the Task Manager, under Performance and then CPU.
