Windows 10 installation problems? - 1

I found my 2014 laptop a few days ago and plan to use it for small things. Since the laptop is still running on Windows 7, I want to install Windows 10. Everything went so far, but he's been looking for updates for about an hour. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong?

which version of Win10 do you have installed?
Even with the current 20H2, it can take a while until it has pulled and displayed all updates. It always depends on the availability of the MS server, on your Internet connection, on the performance of the laptop…
