I would like to connect two screens to my laptop. The screens each have an HDMI and a VGA connection. My laptop has only one HDMI and USB connections. Is there a possibility?
What kind of laptop is it? Then I can look it up.

etc. The first link would be right for you, but is no longer available. But there will certainly still be comparable devices. The second is available, but certainly overkill in your case.
Just search for HDMI multipliers yourself.
What laptop do you have? Sometimes 2 screens are not supported. If it only has normal USB Type A, you can't use 2 screens. However, if it has a USB Type C port, you can connect an adapter there.
But then I have the same image on both screens, if that's the way it works.
Type C termination can be anything you need to see if a display can be operated, it is not always the case.
Sure, it should be USB Type C 3.0 or 3.1. And the computer has to support this.
That's how I understood the question. If he wants to expand his desktop, only a docking station is possible (or, depending on the notebook manufacturer, these miserable structures, which are now marketed as docking stations).
I have the display port and HDMI on the laptop so I can easily disconnect 2 monitors and fire a total of 3 screens.

Unfortunately it does not work
I agree
Via the USB Type C you can connect a second monitor with an adapter
Doesn't USB Type C have to be 3.0 type?
This works out.
