The Windows Update is running for me and then suddenly stops at 19% and does not continue loading. I've tried it several times and waited a long time, but nothing happens after 19%. How can lying down?
(I update via USB stick and it worked with the stick on my laptop, but not on the PC. Both had Windows 7 Home Premium before)
You need at least 25 GB of free space on drive C: for an update / upgrade.
Before the action, you should free the existing system of any ballast.
Drive C: → Properties → Clean up + Clean up system files.
The absolute minimum of free memory is the current size of the Windows folder + 8GB, since a complete backup copy is made of this and some installation files are copied to the drive.
