No, but I would like to scan it in and fill it out via laptop
Not every form can be filled out on a pc
When you have scanned in the application, you will have a picture of this paper. And then you can write in this picture with any image editing software that supports text input. You can even do this with MS Paint.
But you can write something in every pixel image.
And how can I scan the document with the Canon mg 2550?

I do this as follows:
Scan in the form and save this image as a PDF on the PC using the Windows PDF printer. Then I call up the Win10 app Drawboard-PDF.
With this app you can draw as well as insert text (in different sizes). You can also correct that and copy the text…
When everything is ready just print it out!
Always scanned in and printed as PDF!
