PC hard drive with Windows install on it?

I have a PC on which a ssd with Windows installed on it and an HDD now I would like to install the hard disk from my laptop into the PC because there are still important data on it but Windows is also installed on the hard disk but with errors that I can't start my laptop anymore. When I install the hard drive in my PC, but I always get an error because on the Windows is still on it, I can somehow read the data and move to my other hard drive?

If you have two Windows installations saved, you should actually be asked at startup, which Windows installation you want to start (at least with Win10, in other versions, I do not know). If you then select the working, you should be able to read the hard drive as normal.

If the PC automatically starts the malfunctioning Windows, you simply select in the UEFI that it should start the functioning.
