I'm looking for a simple laptop with Word pre-installed and a printer that works fine with this laptop.
Unfortunately the shops are closed and I don't want to buy anything afterwards to find out that the laptop is running Windows XP but the printer only works with Windows 10.
I'm just going to do some word processing and that's it.

I would recommend a Chromebook. A Chromebook comes with the Google Play Store and you can also install Android apps on it. Word is also available for Android. Chromebooks start very quickly and have a very long battery life.
