Two out of three USB ports will not work on my Toshiba Satellite laptop. Only the one to which the mouse is always connected is still ok. What can this be? What can I do?
How old is the laptop?
Age weakness yes your granny clear but probably not with a device
Sorry that you do not understand my sense of humor, but I'll say it so everything goes with the years broken computer too
Either a hardware or a driver problem. Reinstall the drivers once. In addition, look in the BIOS, if everything is still activated there.
Maybe try another cable.
Can have many reasons, from a broken USB controller to an incorrectly installed driver (USB 3.0 and higher) etc.
Well with humor that has not to do and yes the device is synonymous sometimes broken that is completely correct. But this is like an old car, if the car is well-groomed runs even after years
Ok guys, thanks for your help. Since the printer had previously worked on any free USB port, I'll try it with new drivers.
Clean connections with a toothbrush.
