USB 2.0 ports do not work. What is the problem?

There are 3 USB ports on my laptop (one of them USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0)

The 2.0 are not working.

The device manager shows that only one USB controller is installed, I guess only the one for the 3.0 USB. Normally there should be three with three USB ports. Is there a way to install additional ones or to solve this problem?

What kind of laptop is it exactly? And does it still have 2 USB ports?

Maybe you need the laptop-specific driver, check out the manufacturer's website to see if there are drivers for your laptop model.
