I have the problem that my USB ports somehow do not connect to the computer. It's my mouse and keyboard. The funny thing is that when I connect them to the USB ports they light up like they normally do, but only that - there's no response from the computer.
I assumed that the devices were damaged but that doesn't seem to be the case since I've tried the whole thing on my laptop. Everything seems to be going well there without any problems. Anyone knows what the cause may be because the usb ports don't seem to be damaged and I've tried all the devices light up on all ports, be it keyboard or mouse.
Had a random pasture also the problem maybe a solution I'm really overwhelmed?
Could it be a power problem - the computer starts up normally?
Which operating system?
Has anything worked on this USB port?
Are the drivers for the USB controllers installed?
→ Look in the device manager in Windows.
Does the keyboard / mouse appear under "Devices" or in the Device Manager (Windows)?
Can a troubleshooting be carried out here?
Check in the BIOS whether "legacy" is switched on with USB?
Or something like support USB keyboard or mouse turned on?
Everything is back to the old, even if I don't understand what I changed, it works smoothly again. Anyway, thanks for the replies
Works again but for the future I will adjust the setting.
Well then everything is fine.
Have a nice evening, stay healthy and have a happy new year!
