Laptop frame broken, repair with metal plate & glue?

As the title implies, the frame of the laptop screen (plastic) is broken. As I see it, a thin but not flexible metal plate would be enough to fix. Does anyone know a page where you can order something tailor-made?

Another point would be the glue. I want it to be bomb-proof, so I need an adhesive that can bind metal and plastic together.
