For several days now I have had the problem that my headset is connected to my laptop and only the left one works. At the same time, I often have mic interruptions.
I then went through the problem as follows: Cable and headset tested via adapter on my mobile phone headset works fine. Cable apparently also there's no error.
So it must be due to the jack socket on the laptop I tried unscrewing my laptop and pressed it carefully to see if it had loose contact anyway.

Have you ever tried a different jack socket? You almost gave yourself the answer. You have to test it on as many other devices as possible to localize the error. So either it's the headphones or the jack connection. And I don't have to explain that one of the two would have to be exchanged in this case. If it is your headset, I would look at YT for headset repair. You can find ways to repair the headset and make it more robust at the same time for very little money.
