Many have asked and it was said no, because every notebook manufacturer
Lay the boards differently with the screws… Etc.
Now I have in front of me to get a 3D printer, would it be possible to put together a laptop myself?
If you find enough ways to get the appropriate mounting holes, why not?
It would be unique.
In the best case, you will get the case with it.
The complete electronics are still missing. And there are almost no standards for laptops compared to a normal tower PC
If you have a motherboard as a template, then yes.
Thank you for your prompt reply
Thank you for the fast answer
OK thanks. There are a few different opinions but thanks
So roughly out of the question you can't print hardware with it, you have to buy it anyway.
The case for a laptop can be printed if you have all the information from the mainboard, SSD / HDD, cooling, flat cable, etc., yes it would work, but it will cost you a lot of time, filament and electricity until you have finished results according to your wishes.
I write from experience because I built my own laser CNC cutter with the help of a 3D printer… I had to improve a lot 3 times until everything fit. The "perfect" 3D drawing including details (screws, washers, etc.) will save you a lot of time and money later, everything has to be well thought out.
