Burn mark on the mainboard?

Hello have a burn mark in my Medion laptop? Do you know what that could be oda whether it burned through? Was the lid a bit scorched at that point too?

When I start it it says automatic repair and then it hangs. Broken hard drive.

It looks like a short circuit on the plug or in the cable. What was connected there?

Your SSD must have said goodbye. You can probably throw that in the bin.

Or was that the connector for your keyboard?

I have no ssd a hdd and whether that is the connection from the keyboard I don't know. The pictures are of the rear not from the front

Well, the error seems to be more with the connector. It is quite possible that there's a short circuit in the power supply for the Sata port, which is right next to it.

It would therefore be important what was connected to this connector.

Looks like a short circuit. You don't know what was infected there before, do you?

You can measure the "affected" conductor tracks, on the boards there's a protective varnish that burns away and keeps a large part of the heat away and eg "survives" bursting capacitors
