Why is my charging LED flashing on the Samsung laptop r540? Jo Johnathancough
When I try to start my laptop, the power-on button lights up for a second and then goes off again. The fan and hard drive do not start. The battery and the charging cable are not defective. So my question is what is wrong with my laptop and how can I fix it?
Our case:
The charging circuit / regulation of the ACER Aspire was defective, removing the integrated batteries and operating only via the power supply (with the battery removed) worked.
As soon as a battery was inside again, the same problem - main board would have to be replaced - device 4 years old, uneconomical!
I checked it again and my laptop doesn't work with or without a battery.
I have added the model and thank you anyway for your efforts.
