So I have a pc with an Intel Pentium 2.0 Ghz processor
4GB of memory
Hardly traces of use and it is on buissnes laid out
Why are you hiding the specifications of the processor?
In any case, this is a model that is still new to buy, and with current Windows (older devices are almost unsalable)
The easiest way to find out the market price is still Ebay, enter HP250 G5 and then "sold items". Then you can see that since 100-200 euro have been paid for working used recently.
4 GB are pretty little, if the equipment is also otherwise "basic", that is more like 100 than 200 (minus fees)
The part just enough to be able to use the simplest Office applications liquid, modern tablets can do that at least as well if not better.
If it's n 50s it should fit, 100 euro would be a lot and everything over it is well above the value.
It depends ultimately on the processor how much you still get for it, but that you have struck out neatly for me, inexplicable reasons.
Here is a tip from me:
With a Linux distribution you can continue to use it meaningfully. I recommend Lubuntu. This is an official Ubuntu-devirat and would miss the specifications like a rocket and barely scratch the system resources.
Here is the download: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/...-amd64.iso This is the current stable long-term support version
Install this tool under Windows: https://www.balena.io/...io/etcher/ This allows you to create ISOs bootable USB sticks.
Then just boot the stick. Now you can start the installation. I recommend a full installation. The installer offers the possibility to completely delete the hard disk. It will be installed right away Firefox, Libreoffice, GIMP, multimedia components and tools. The WLAN is automatically detected and set up during the installation. To do this, have network keys ready.
By comparison, Windows is a lame duck.
