Windows 10: How do I change the microphone input on my headphones?

In the settings, I can only use the microphone built into my laptop. I can't find the microphone on my headphones.

Does anyone know how to switch to my headphones?

As far as I know, that doesn't work, that's probably a connection where both are intrigued. You need a splinter.

Look in the sound control panel for your microphone, if it is displayed you can set it as the default.

If not then it's probably because of the connection.

I only have one connection. When it comes to headphones, I speak of one that came with smartphones in the box at the time.
